As a Registered Clinical Social Worker, I believe that healing begins with relationships—those we nurture with ourselves, our loved ones, and our communities. My practice is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a deep understanding of the complex systems we navigate. I embrace a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing the interconnectedness of our experiences and the diverse influences that shape our well-being. Life is a tapestry of experiences—messy, beautiful, difficult, and everything in between. My goal is to be a steady presence for my clients during their heaviest moments, serving as a light in the darkness.

With over a decade of experience in diverse settings—including schools, housing and addiction services, mental health prevention, crisis intervention, and victim support—I have gained a deep understanding of the challenges individuals encounter throughout their lives. I work with clients facing a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, stress, and relationship difficulties. I prioritize authenticity, empathy, and a judgment-free environment, fostering genuine connections, as I believe healing is rooted in compassion and honest reflection.

I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotion-Focused Therapy), and SBT (Strength-Based Therapy). Additionally, I am a certified facilitator for programs like the Connect Parent Program (an attachment-based approach), the Peacemaking Circle Program (focused on restorative justice), and the Violent Threat Risk Assessment (VTRA) protocol.

I offer afternoon and evening sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in Edmonton, as well as Wednesdays in Fort Saskatchewan. If you feel I might be a good fit for you, I would love to connect and walk alongside you during this time in your life.

I hope you find the courage to change your life. In the small ways, in the bigs ways, in every way that matters. I hope you do not end this story with a heart full of regrets. I hope you do not spend your years just waiting for your life to begin. I hope you realize that this is not the practice run, this is not the preview. This is it. There is nothing to do but leap. There is nothing to do but allow yourself to exist as boldly and honestly as you can. You will think you have forever, but you do not. It all happens, and it happens quickly. You are not waiting on another person, or the right timing, or for everything to fall into place. You are waiting to feel ready enough to exist within the questions, to not need every answer, and to know that life does not come to us perfectly understood, but to be fully experienced, in every direction we can possibly reach.
